When paying in USD, please use the prevailing Bank of China approved RMB/USD exchange rate at the time of payment. Any foreign exchange shortfall shall be carried forward to the next invoice.
Annual Tuition Fees
Annual tuition fees are those payments made in full for the school year and received by our bank two weeks prior to the student starting classes.
The tuition fees are inclusive of snacks and one set of school uniforms, bus, language programme, textbooks and computer use.
Half Year Payements
Second half school fees are due March 1st (there will be no 4% discount).
Term Fees
A student is liable for full term payment (in the amounts indicated) for attendance during any part of a term, including one day, and must be received by our bank two weeks prior to the student starting classes. The school reserves the right to suspend a child from classes if fees remain unpaid at the end of the first week of class commencement.
A late payment administrative fee of 2% per annum on the amount outstanding will be assessed on all overdue payments.
Partial Tuition Payments
For example, if a student is enrolled for 50 days at a tuition rate of RMB 65,000, the calculation of partial tuition would be as follows:
RMB 65000 (tuition)/184 (school days) = RMB355tuition per day.
355 * 50 (days enrolled) = RMB 17750 for the enrolment period.
17750 * .05 = RMB888
17750 + 888 = RMB18638 total tuition
DISCOUNT POLICIES
A Sibling Discount: 1st child – Full Fee; 2nd child – 15% tuition fee discount, 3rd child – 20% tuition fee discount.
B Group Discount: 12 or more children from one company - 20% tuition fee discount; 6-12 children from one company - 10% tuition fee discount.
The above discounts cannot be applied concurrently. The maximum discount any one child is eligible for shall not exceed 20%.
C Early payment discount shall be applied as follows:
4% Discount for annual tuition fees received by 15th Sep 2009.
OTHER FEES AND DEPOSITS
Registration Fee
A non-refundable registration fee of RMB 2,500 is required for new students enrolling at the EtonHouse, Xi’an International School (XHIS).
WITHDRAWAL AND REFUND POLICY
All fees are non-refundable.
