Philosophy
The International Department of Xi’an Hi-Tech International School offers an academically rigorous educational program based on skills, attitudes, concepts, knowledge and action. Through an inquiry-based program that celebrates and taps into both the diversity that exists within our community and our unique location in Xi’an, students at EtonHouse are encouraged to become critical thinkers, life long learners and active members in the community.

We provide stimulating learning experiences that are focused around the strengths and needs of individuals and encourage each child to reach their full potential--academically, socially, emotionally and physically.  We strive to promote a safe and comfortable environment where all children are happy, supported and understood.

We aim to foster a love of learning in children and provide them with the skills they need to be adaptable and flexible in a rapidly changing world. Through modeling and explanation, we strive towards creating a learning community in which all members are: caring, open-minded, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, inquirers, well-balanced, risk-takers, reflective and principled.
