• This course focuses on the study of patterns and structure within the real number system. Topics include working with equations, graphing, and problem-solving strategies. Students become adept at solving problems which require the integration of a variety of mathematical concepts.

  • This course is aimed at advanced students of Chinese including background speakers and advanced learners. The stress is placed on articles reading, analysis ability as well as grammar in integrated fashion. Students will learn more about Chinese contemporary literature , ancient literature ,culture and history of literature and society through making projects and researching.   Students use language skills and cultural knowledge to connect with local, national, and international community.

  • Secondary Beginner:
    This course is aimed at beginners of Chinese and focuses on basic daily language. The focus is to introduce students to Chinese language and culture through readings and group role playing activities. The student should acquire a reasonable proficiency in everyday language. Reading and writing will be essential parts of the course but great emphasis will be placed on practical Chinese. Completion of this unit should give students a basic level of proficiency allowing continued studies of Chinese.

    Secondary Advanced:
    This course is aimed at advanced students of Chinese including background speakers and advanced learners. Great emphasis is placed on reading, writing and grammar. Students will learn to read more detailed writings such as newspapers and magazines. Students will be exposed to Chinese culture and history through course readings and classroom activities such as calligraphy.
