XHIS uses an inquiry-based curriculum and expects students to master specific learning outcomes before advancing to the next grade. Learners are expected to take a responsible role in their own learning. Because our students must be sufficiently challenged in order to attend respected universities, our graduation requirements in the Secondary School are quite a bit more stringent than the typical Western high school.
